Swiss Chalet began as a humble family restaurant in Toronto in 1954, founded by Swiss immigrants who brought their culinary traditions and commitment to quality to Canada. What started as a small establishment serving authentic Swiss-inspired cuisine quickly gained popularity for its unique fried chicken recipe.

Over the decades, we've grown from a single location to over 250 restaurants across Canada, but our dedication to quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods has never wavered. Our signature 14-herb-and-spice recipe remains a closely guarded secret, known only to a select few master chefs within our organization.

In 1987, we pioneered the concept of premium fried chicken delivery in Canada, making our delicious meals accessible to even more Canadians. Today, Swiss Chalet is synonymous with exceptional fried chicken delivered hot and fresh to homes across the country.

While we honor our Swiss heritage in our name and cooking techniques, we are proud to be a Canadian company, sourcing our chicken from Canadian farms and employing thousands of Canadians in communities throughout the nation.
